Faye Edwards

She is also a qualified Early Childhood Nurse (Mothercraft Nurse) and has worked in this capacity for twenty years either in Baby Clinics and assisting mothers and their babies and toddlers or their homes. She has assisted with feeding, sleep and settling as well as behaviour concerns. Faye has successfully assisted thousands of mothers and their babies over the years, she is a mother of three and a grandmother of five.

Grace Ugbor is our Perth representative.  She has 18 years experience as a midwife and specialises in maternal and newborn care.  She has extensive training in Nigeria, South Africa, New Zealand and is a member of several Nurses boards including WA, NSW, NZ and Nigeria.

Her most recent experiences in NZ saw her working as a independent and community midwife.  Here she provided primary/secondary antenatal/intrapartum/postnatal continuity of care to women, performed ongoing antenatal visits, including those with medical disorders and prolong pregnancy. Grace covered care and discharge planning, social needs, providing women and their family with education and information regarding management of their pregnancy and the postnatal period. She was also involved in home visits providing postnatal care for both mother and baby.

Grace has also worked at several Auckland Hospitals in the Delivery unit, Antenatal clinic and the Ante/Postnatal wards. Here she admitted and cared for mothers in labour, and delivered babies in a 24 bed delivery suite.  She assisted with breastfeeding technique and educated mothers in newborn care. She cared for mothers with high risk and complicated pregnancies, assisted with caesarean sections, cared for mothers with birth complications and abnormal deliveries.

All in all we are very pleased she chose to part of our Cradle 2 Kindy team.
