Cradle 2 Kindy helps support Teen Challenge WA. Their residential program continues to be one of the largest and most effective substance abuse recovery and prevention programs of its kind. They endeavor to meet the needs of the whole person to help them to be physically well, socially adjusted, mentally sound, emotionally balanced and spiritually alive. The program is based on Christian principles with a goal to equip the individual to return to society as a responsible citizen. The Teen Challenge http://www.teenchallengewa.org.au

Bible Societies literacy program at Wontulp-Bi-Buya College in Cairns is another project Cradle 2 Kindy supports.
Wontulp-Bi-Buya College training Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to communicate the whole Word of God to their own communities using local forms of communication and language.
Literacy support is a vital element of the learning experience at Wontulp because many of the students have limited knowledge of English, low literacy levels, and poor reading habits. Wontulp’s Literacy tutors help equip students to better express themselves in both the spoken and written form. http://www.biblesociety.com.au

International Community
Cradle 2 Kindy believes strongly in supporting international communities. Our support goes towards those who work with the local communities in assisting under privileged women and children such as:
|
Cradle 2 Kindy supports Eagles Wings in their mission to work with children in poverty, assisting them to reach their God given potential. Eagles Wings does this through partnering with the children’s existing family and community to bring education, hope, renewal and justice through Jesus Christ. Their vision is to partner with poor communities, that through Christ they may see the children transformed to live in freedom, free to dream and empowered to fulfill them. http://www.ewafrica.org

Cradle 2 Kindy supports Homes of Hope in their vision to help the poorest of the poor – women and children who are incapable of escaping the cycle of poverty. HOHI works with local communities through partnership, training and enablement programmes, helping women develop various skills that would enable them to earn a living and become independent. Endangered children are provided with a safe home, medical care, and the opportunity to break the systemic cycles of homelessness, abuse and poverty, through education and training programmes. http://www.homesofhopeint.com
