Happy New Year! I hope you have all had a safe and joy filled holiday season with family and friends. Sally has spent Christmas in Perth with family and friends and will be back in Sydney on the 12 January 2012. If you have any immediate questions before 12 Jan please call 0409 721 145 between 10 am and 4 pm EST.  From the 12 Jan the best time to call is between 12 - 6pm.

Summer is generally hot so please remember to keep your child's water consumption up and babies in prams please use a dark wrap over the pram to limit glare. A reminder to those with toddlers during summer, this is a great time to start toilet training. Our article How to Toilet Train Your Toddler may help.

Holiday letting is still available at our four great destinations which are family and pet friendly.  These are:

Quince Cottage in Gracetown WA. Views of the beach and a short drive to Margaret River. Or visit Victoria and have a relaxing holiday at The Terrace Grove in Ocean Grove, Ruby Haven, a quiet bush location one hour out of Geelong or stay in Geelong. All are child and pet friendly. "Breath holding can be a terrifying experience especially when a child passes out.  A child who has a tendency to hold their breath often does so between the ages of one and three years old".  To read more please follow the above link.

Thank you to Cradle 2 Kindy and our coaches experience in settling babies. The last 9 months I have suffered severe sleep deprivation. My baby boy would wake me at night every 2 to 3 hours. The best nights were when he would wake me 3 times. I am totally against leaving baby to cry and shutting the door. I have read all the popular books on baby sleep and visited a paediatrician in order to end sleepless nights. Nothing worked. Our coach came over and in 2 nights she was able to teach us to settle our baby boy.  As a result he now sleeps through the night. It wasn't easy, but these 2 nights were worth it. our coach taught us how to better interpret our sons crying. Now everyone can sleep! My little rascal, me, my husband and neighbours! Hurray! Thank you.
