Baby Wraps
Cosy Cheesecloth
Looking for quality and value for your money? Look no further. Sleep Sweet & Platypup baby wraps are the largest on the market which means babies grow into them before they grow out of them. Large enough to be used as a cot sheet when baby no longer needs to be wrapped.
Sleep Sweet & Platypup fabrics are made from either 100% cotton, other natural fibers or has a little elastine such as our Jersey wraps which give the fabric stretch. We have both winter and summer fabrics and fabrics suitable for all seasons. Scroll through the drop down menu and choose fabric suitable for this season before selecting your choice of colours or design which is listed at the bottom of each page.
I just received my wraps and I am
SO happy with them. They are the perfect size and the quality is
gorgeous. Darcy is wrapped up in bed in one right now, and didn’t even
need patting! It was so easy following the instructions.
Thanks, Sarah

Wrapping tips:
Wrap babies only when you want them to sleep. This will help babies to associate wrapping with sleep. When wrapped consistently at sleep time, babies will take it as a cue to prepare for sleep and settle quicker resulting in a more sound sleep. Never totally restrict baby's arm movements. The natural way most of us sleep is with our hands near our face. This helps baby comfort him/herself.
For newborn or small babies fold the wrap in half. Our special wrapping technique gives baby freedom of movement yet enough restraint to bring a sense of security to help baby sleep sweet. Sleep Sweet wraps have been made especially large to enable you to wrap older babies and are approximately 120 cm by 147 cm (except for the plain flannelette which is 140 cm by 90 cm). Because Sleep Sweet wraps are large they may also be used as bassinet or cot sheets, pram or change table covers, for dressing up or a sarong or towel down at the beach.

Thanks SO much for
sending the wraps through so quickly. I received them
yesterday
afternoon in time for last night's sleep. The night before
we used your
wrapping technique with our large muslins and our 7 month
old only woke 3
or 4 times; prior to this she had been waking at least
hourly (partly
because she is battling the last of a heavy cold, partly
because we
co-sleep part of the night). But then last night, with the
new wrapping
technique and the jersey wrap, she woke only once (as far as
I can
remember) and didn't need rewrapping at all. So effectively
this is the
first night that she has slept through or almost through in 7
months.
Co-incidence? We'll see tonight. But I certainly think it
helped her
being securely wrapped with her arms in a comfy position.
Thanks again, Amanda |
